Inspired by my mother who always spoke about being a business owner and making your own money, I became an entrepreneur at a very young age. I've had many businesses, and have been learning the game since I was about 7 years old. As my very first entrepreneurial endeavor, I handmade bracelets and sold them to members of the African dance class that I attended. Over time I developed my creative skills, such as picking up crocheting ad refining my drawing abilities, which led to a new array of products. I started my own crochet clothing line at 14 years old with the help of my mom and experienced selling in stores and dressing local artists.
After attending Cincinnati State Technical and Community college for graphic design, I started my own design company, and began specializing in brand identities and digital illustration.I landed a design manager position with local Cincinnati, Black-owned business incubator MORTAR. There I learned more about business, ownership, and financial freedom.
Most recently, I am working to get my Bachelor's degree in business administration from SNHU, I recently graduated from MORTAR's first virtual business academy class, and have launched the crowd-funding campaign for my greeting card company, PIDGIN
