My sister and I stepped out in 17 degree weather to take these pictures after my red fever hit one Friday evening. Flipping through Pinterest pics of badass sporty girls on my couch, I was inspired to create a look that was just as gangsta, in a slick black outfit with splatters of red scattered throughout the photos.
The coco red project
Red is an intense color, so fiery and passionate that it can be blinding. Its various shades are juicy, and at times seductive, gracing the curves and lips of women. Just as soft and sensual as it can be, the color also has a thirst for speed, making the fastest cars look even faster #hotrods. It is also a great color to add that perfect pop to a monotone outfit.
I've always had a thing for an all white or an all black outfit with this random (or deliberate) hint of red in it. For this shoot, where numbed fingers and runny noses prevailed, I coordinated not just an outfit to fit that concept, but the entire photoshoot. My outfit may not have the hint of red added, but the photo details do. It is a perfect example of just how great a cherry shade can compliment anything in life, whether it's an outfit, room decor, or some dope photos.
